Hi,

from the server reference manual

META file that contains:

a.AccessPoint attributes

b.Pre-load options

c.Authorization (Document Metadata Service – that is, DMS – mode only)

Shared Files

There are multiple objects available for user collaboration and sharing through QlikView Server:

Bookmarks

Sheet objects, including charts

Reports

Annotations

Hi BBI_MBA_76,

I have an issue with those files, too: I never yet needed the information that is saved in those files - what I'd like to do is to have those files generated/ saved in a different directory, not the default directory where the qvw_files are saved - that would make it all a bit tidier...

Do you happen to know where the directory for those files can be edited?

Thanks a lot!

Best regards,

Hi,

I don't know if it is possible to change those settings..but why you want to move them?

Maybe you could unmark the 'Allow Creation of Server Objects' option in the management console (documents > user doc > server > server objects)

Hi,

To start they have to be in the same folder as the QVW. There is nothing in them that you can edit.
