Whenever a value is selected in a listbox, it comes to the top. How to avoid this? e.g: in a listbox, values are A,B,C. When C is selected, listbox shows values as: C,A,B. How to avoid this and maintain the order as A,B,C.
Right klick in the listbox, select pref. And uncheck the sortorder / presentation order box named freqvenc under tab sort.
On the Sort tab of the List Box, untick State and tick what you do want it sorted by.
Check this:
In the sort tab, uncheck 'State'. And if you would want to fix the scroll position as well, then additionally check Layout->'Preserve Scroll Position'
Thanks,

Uncheck the State, by default the selected value comes to the top.
Unchecking State doesn't work. But , I need sorting by state also.
If your list box contains only a limited number of values, you can avoid this by leaving the sort order set at Auto Ascending, and stretching your listbox so that it shows all values. Now every selection will stay where it was. As soon as there are more values than lines, the juggling-around starts over again.

Unchecking State and choosing Load Order also doesn't help.
It is either sorted by State or it is not.
