Outer Join

Table A & B are joined by column ID. I let Qlickview do the join based on the column name (no explicit JOIN statement in script). There are some nulls in column ID in table B. When I display in straight table all columns from table B, the rows having nulls in column ID are not displayed. I thought that Qlickview default behaviour is full outer join. How can one explain above? What do I have to do to display rows with NULL's in column ID?

Thanks,

Dinesh.

Hi thonipad!

In your Straight table, try to uncheck the Supress When Value is Null (under Dimensions) and check Show All Values.

That takes me a step further. But it shows all rows from table A. What gives?
