How to choose latest month in the qlikview

Hi,

i am loading the data from xls file which has date coulmn. i have to choose only latest month from this table. is there any way to choose latest month.

my date expression is Date(Date,'MMM-YYYY').

If I understand your question, that you can use like this:

Month(max(Date) )

or you can creat a list box, set the field to date, and hide the caption. That way u can select any date you want to

leave the caption on and drag it around until its visible and hide the caption again
