Hi,
When I add a reference line to a thermometer style gauge chart, the label doesn't appear (the line does). I have checked 'show label in chart' but still nothing.
I was resorting to reference lines as the grid lines are useless (they only divide up the gauge into a number of units rather than allowing you to specify intervals as far as I can see). I could use a bar chart but that would be a shame.
Does anyone know if there's a reason?
Thanks,
Julian
Have you been able to figure anything out here? I would love to be able to do the same thing.
Thanks,
Katrina
I'm also interested in putting labels on reference lines.
The option is there, but nothing changes when checked 😞
Regards,
Jens

anyone got this working?
I am having a similar problem.
Can any one let me know if this is a bug in QlikView?
i filled a support question about this topic a year ago. Answer :
Your recent support case as described below has now been confirmed by our Issue Analysis team as a bug, ID 44420.
I didn't test it yet on new versions on QlikView. So this bug is still there?
I just tried this on QV 11.SR2, and it does not seem to work. The bug is still there as far as I can tell--a pretty annoying one too.
Cheers
I am bringing this one back from the dead. I can confirm this is still an issue.
We have version 11.00.11414.0 SR2 and it will not display the reference label for me either.
Which is a little disappointing as we are fairly new users to the program and to make it a little more appealing for end users I created a cool thermometer chart to show our quarterly sales goal, but I cannot label our halfway or target line so it just makes it a little less user friendly.
Same problem.
I just installed 11.2 SR7, believe or not, the problem is still there! Shame on QlikView Support.
This issue was first reported almost 4 years ago and they still have not address it.
