QlikSense Server legacy mode activation doesn't work

Hello together,

as described at the following site

we have activated the legacy mode and restarted the qlik sense server. But it's still not working and when trying to execute the script we get the error: "CONNECTs other than LIB CONNECT are not available in this script mode"

Do we have to do anything else?

This problem was caused due to a full restart of all qlik sense server services. You have to restart the engine service only and it will work

Unfortunately the legacy mode is deactivated when restarting all qliksense services again.

Hopefully at some point though this will at least be a switch that can be set in the UI or load script - presently it really feels like a hack to be able to load from a dynamic web page in this way.

Where do you restart the engine service?

In the windows control panel: "Control Panel\System and Security\Administrative Tools" open Services. There you can find the qlik services.
