Applying selected filter's to selected chart's in qlikview

Hi Friends,

I have challenge that applying selected filter's to selected chart's in qlikview.

I have two filters and two charts.

Filter-1 i want to apply for two charts....Which qlikview will automatically do.

Filter-2 i want to apply only for one chart....How to restrict that.

Please help me on this...

Thanks for reply,

Alternate state is not working in my case because,

I created a stateA and then i applied to filter1 and chart1.....The problem is filter2 is not getting apply to chart1....

In my case filter2 want to apply to chart1.

Then in the chart2 i want only filter1 again wats to apply i don't want filter2 in these chart2..

Please reply ASAP.

This can be done in two ways, attached sample QVW

Hi,

You can use alternate State for Only one Filter,

1. As first will work automatically If its Year Restricted means.State 1 and State 2.
2. For Second We will Write Month For example on state 2   Exp     =Sum({<Month= $::Month>}Salary)

                                                                                state 1  Exp     -=Sum({<Month= $::Month>}Salary)
