Hi
There are couple of qvw's which is there in the access point(Data refresh in these qvw's are scheduled). The purpose of these qvd's is just to extract the data in to the qvd and then final application will load the data from these extracted qvd's.
Is there is any way where the data refresh(scheduled) happens as it is but these files shouldn't appear in the access point. As I am using these qvw's as a qvd extractor. So it is not neccessary to be shown in the access point.
Hope some one can help me out to do this.

Then what is the other way of doing the same. Please let me know!
Use windows permissions!
Go to the properties of file, on Security tab deny access to this file for users you want to remove this file from Access point
To do this you must have also appropriate rights.

Andris
If you are using QV server 10, then you can store those QVWs in a separate folder, and mount that folder in the Server Setting tab. Next to the folder name is a selection box, something like Show In Access Point (I'm not on a server right now, so I'm not sure of the actual label). If you untick this the documents in that folder will not be shown to anyone in Access Point, regardless of the security settings.
QlikView 9 had this checkbox, but it didn't work, so if you have QV 9 then Andris' suggestion to set the file security settings is the way to go.
Colin.
If you have the publisher, add the data extractors to the source document folder instead of the user document folder (see the setup for qlikview server and qlikview publisher for which).
Hi Attitude,
Whatever the applications you copy to the publish folder will appear in the access Point for NTFS Authorization.
The solution is very simple. Do not include the QVD Extractors in the Publish Folder . Make a seperate folder for them .
Hi, this is a function of Windows, not from Qv Server
If you change the "hidden" attribute from the file, QV Server is not going to show it in the accesspoint
Check the image and test it 😉

Thanks Andris! I must need to access to the document for reloading it everytime. But I am not sure whether I have use rights are the admin rights. So I will look into it and will let you know.
Hi Colin
Thanks for your help. I will try and let you know the outcome and will let you know.
