Architected my first BI solution in 1991 with MS Excel as front-end and MS SQL Server as back-end. Crafting my own ETL routines with AWK and BCP together with cleverly crafted SQL to achieve a dimensional model. Since then I have had BI and Data Warehousing as part of most of the positions I have had. The last eight years have been with a 100% focus on just BI and Data Warehousing. Since 1995 and onwards I programmed and architected many web-solutions. Touching technologies like CGI, Perl, classic ASP, PHP, ASP.NET. Using JavaScript since it's first incarnations - C# since the early 2000's. Python and R along with Big Data and other emerging technologies has become a part of toolchest now.
