Hi everyone,
My organisation has recently adopted Qlik Sense (Cloud), and we’ve run into an issue with the built-in “Request Access” feature. When a user shares a link to one of our apps or dashboards, anyone receiving the link can click the Request Access button.
However, we do not want users to be able to request access in this way, both because we manage access centrally, and because we don’t want to receive these automated access requests at all.
From what I’ve seen so far, it doesn’t appear that this functionality can be disabled, but I may be missing something.
My questions:
Is there a way (via security rules, configuration, or any other method) to disable or hide the “Request Access” button in Qlik Sense?
If not, is there a recommended workaround to prevent these access requests from being generated?
If this feature truly cannot be disabled, is this a current consideration for any future potential enhancement request? For some organisations, managing access solely through predefined security rules is essential.
Any guidance or suggestions would be very much appreciated. Thank you.
At this moment, the functionality to remove the Request Access is not yet customizable. However, it will probably be in the future. In order to remove it now, you need to create a formal ticket/case to Qlik Support with the tenant or tenants you want, and the team will remove the functionality directly from the backend.
Kind Regards
Daniel

Dear all
A new feature has been released in order to disable the Request Access functionality directly in Qlik Cloud.
To do it, you can follow the instructions set in the link:
Customizing the access request process | Qlik Cloud Help
Hence, it is no longer needed to open a ticket/case for Qlik Support as explained in the Accepted Solution.
Kind Regards
Daniel
