I am trying to create a new branch in TAC (v6.5.1 using Git) and getting:

Failed to create branch: Checkout conflict with files:

... bunch of files ...

-- For more information see your log file

At this point, I would like just have what is in Git as the version of truth and start from there.  How do I get TAC to recognize this?

can you please attach tomcat logs? We need it to find more details about the issue.

Also question - are you using github or something else?

Working with admins to retrieve Tomcat logs.  We are using GitLab , and have been since Talend was installed about 6 months ago.  We haven't had issues creating new branches via TAC previously.

Sorry for the lack of follow-up.  We were advised to use Studio rather than TAC to create branches. This is what we have been doing since then without issue.
