High CPU usage runtime

Hi,

For the past few days we had some issues with runtime.

As the title suggests, our runtime cpu's consumption is at 90-95% almost 24/7. We have two services on the machine that runs runtime (TALEND-ESB-CONTAINER-APP and TALEND-ESB-CONTAINER-INFRA) that once started, each one will launch a Java Platform SE Binary application.

Those two applications summed will consume most of the CPU.

Kind regards,

Viorel Dumitru

Machine configuration:

OS : Windows Server 2012 R2

CPU : Intel Xeon CPU E5-2690 v4 @ 2.6GHz

RAM : 8GB

Storage : 49.8GB (21.9GB free)

Hello,

You could augment the JVM RAM usage and the Memory usage of JVM on file SETENV.BAT located in (runtime folder)/Container/bin

For more information, please have a look at this documentation:

Hi Sabrina,

Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately the changes you've suggested for Container-app/bin/setenv.bat and Container-infra/bin/setenv.bat  haven't done anything. My CPU usage is still at 100%.

Worth mentioning that we have reverted to a snapshot of the runtime server taken just before this problem started.

Kind regards,

Viorel Dumitru

Does this solution work? Could you please give us more information about it?

Best regards

Sabrina

It did not work. We're still investigation to find the culprit, but no luck so far.

The issue started on the 18th of September, and the snapshot (that we restored) was taken on the 17th of September.

What kind of information do you need, so that I can provide it?

Kind regards,

Viorel Dumitru
