Production Connection password pointing to garbage value

We are using the Connections to run Talend jobs for our third-party applications.

Yesterday, We started getting error for authorization from third-party application and upon checking the connection in the "Management Console", we found out that the password was changed and pointing to some garbage value but we didn't changed the password from our side as the "last updated" parameter was pointing it to "10 Days Ago".

The connection which got updated are "erp" & "erp_mm" being used for Production Environment.

Please help us get the RCA(Root Cause Analysis) on how the password value got changed without our intervention.

The timeline when we started getting error: "4:00 am PST 11-21-2023".

Hello,

We need a little bit more information to address your issue.

Could you please clarify on which Talend Management Console version you got this issue?

Are you using an remote engine or Talend Cloud as runtime engine in Talend Management Console?

Does your talend job work well in studio or the Job fails with 'incorrect password'?

Best regards

Sabrina
