Subject Restricting Data Connection Creation to Specific Users in Qlik Cloud
We are currently using Qlik Cloud and would like to restrict the ability to create data connections to specific users only. At present, it seems that anyone with admin access can create data connections, but we want to limit this capability to a designated individual.. My specific use case involves users who already have admin roles (e.g., Tenant Admin or Data Admin), and I would like to restrict only the ability to create data connections for these users—without removing their broader administrative access. Could you please confirm if there is any workaround or roadmap feature that would allow: Restricting data connection creation for users with admin roles. Creating a custom role that retains full admin capabilities but excludes data connection management.
