Switching branches in Talend using GitLab

When I switch from one branch to another and attempt to 'pull and merge', I am asked to commit changes. I don't recognize some of the changes. How do I make the switch without committing unwanted changes? Thanks.

Hi @Steven McDonough

I believe it depends on the edition you're using.

If you're using Talend Cloud, you can enable "manual commit mode" and this way you can set the "staged changes" you want to commit.

This can be enabled under Project Settings on Talend Studio: https://help.talend.com/r/en-US/8.0/studio-user-guide/activating-manual-git-commit-mode

But if you're using Talend on-premises, it is not possible I'm afraid: https://community.talend.com/s/question/0D55b00008PHwHLCA1/talend-git-using-manual-commit-mode?langu...
