Unable to Connect to AMC Database from Studio

I've setup a MySQL schema that I want Talend to record logging information to, and to use with AMC. Following the documentation, I added the three tables using the DDL provided. I also created a Metadata connection named 'TalendAMC' (with a context) to this schema. My project settings look like this:

I've enabled 'tStatCatcherStatistics" on several of the components within a job in this project.

If I switch to the 'AMC' perspective, I don't have an option to select my 'TalendAMC' database from the 'Monitoring DB' dropdown. Instead, there's only one DB on there that is no longer used.

Appreciate any help!

The AMC database connection settings are stored in Window -> Preferences -> AMC ->Datasource Type. I was mistakenly looking for a project setting instead.
