updating

Hello everyone. I have a Talend 2.12.5 server on OS is Linux Centos 7.9.

Their data sources are mainly CSV files or SQL based databases. No external or third party data sources are used. They only use standard connectors. ETL processes run every 15 minutes. The target is only Vertica DWH.
Which version can I update the server to? Can you give a guide?

Thank you in advance

Hi @nnekoma ,

since you’re currently using Talend 2.12.5, you’ll probably need to upgrade to a more recent version to match the tested compatibility, likeI Talend 8.0.1 or later.

But remember to check the official documentation for any additional considerations.

Hi,

I'm assuming the version is for Talend Remote Engine, not Talend Studio 🙂

The problem is that CentOS is no longer officially supported, so no one can give you a definitive answer:

https://help.talend.com/en-US/installation-guide-linux/8.0/compatible-operating-systems.

I think it is a good chance that the latest engine, 2.13.4, will work.
But since it is unsupported you need to test it yourself.
