Alternate State and a container with filter objects

Hi,

I have to define two groups of some filter objects for Alternate States.

I wanted to use a container for each group, so each filter is a master item. 

I defined Alternate States in the container. But, the alternate states don't work.

Is the conclusion that a container can't be used?
