Animator control not clearing selection after run

In Qlik Sense, the animator cycles through the dimension values, and if looping is disabled, it will stop at the end, enabling the play button. However, when the animation ends, the last value is automatically selected. As a result, if the user clicks the play button again, the animation won't restart from the beginning unless the previous selection is cleared.

While this behavior is logically correct, end users may assume the play button has stopped working before realizing they need to clear the previous selection. To address this, I have provided a "Clear All" button, but this seems to create additional confusion.

How can we overcome this situation to improve the user experience?

The animator keeps the last selection by design. A 'clear selection' button can improve the experience.

Is there a way to detect the play and pause actions of the animator? The issue arises when the animator is paused, and a different selection is made. In this case, the slider resets to the start without reflecting the new selection. Additionally, if the user clicks the play button again, the animator won't resume until the selection for the animator field is cleared.
