Authentication method is greyed out in QMC

Dear experts,

We are unable to change Authentication method. It is greyed out. Kindly let us know how can we enable this option as further we are looking to customize the authentication error message :

may be you are not part of the RootAdmin.

You can change it  under QMC Start>>Users>>select the user and click on Edit>>Under "Admin Roles" Add Role>> Select RootAdmin.
