Hi, I am using QlikView Desktop April 2019 SR 4 on Windows Server 2019 Standard. When I try to search in the script editor using Ctl-F, 'Find/Replace...' under the Edit menu, or by clicking on the search icon on the toolbar, nothing happens. Any ideas? I don't think a search prompt is opening outside of the viewable area, because I can still select text in the script.
Thanks
Just checked the find/replace-window doesn't keep the focus if you click anywhere to write/select anything. Therefore the most likely cause is probably that this window is hidden below other windows or on the outside of the screen.
If you couldn't get access to this window with the OS functionalities you may reset the QV windows positions by removing the settings.ini respectively by adjusting it (after a BACKUP). Adjusting means to delete the multiple windows-pos-entries all at ones or step by step (unfortunately they have no name else just an index-value).
