Cannot extract data using IE (Internet explorer)

We just upgrade our qlik sense version from 2.2 to 3.1.  When I edit an app using IE as web browser, I no longer have the ability to extract data (right click) on any graph objects and I no longer can see the Charts, Custom objects, Master Items and fields icons shows below.  However, do not have these issues when using Google Chrome to access/edit apps.  I have root access.
