Chart Level Scripting in the new Straight Table, can you or can't you?

It seems that there is no option to do Chart Level Scripting in the new Straight table object. Is that correct?

Yet you can in the old Table object ... why? Any plans on adding this capability in the future? What's the timeline?

There is currently no UI option to add/edit chart scripting in the new Straight Table. But you can convert the Straight Table back to an old table, add the Script there and convert back to a Straight Table. 

I don't have any knowledge as to whether Chart Script will be added to the Straight Table properties UI, maybe someone from Qlik will weigh in.
