Computing stakes on the fly?

Hi,

I would like to ask for an opinion on the best way to compute stakes in Qlik.

I work in Financial Services. In our simplified data structure, we have three levels - funds, instruments and companies. A fund invests in one or multiple instruments, which in turn invest in one or multiple companies. Please see the diagram below.

I'd like to compute the exposure of a fund into a company. To do this, I need to compute the stakes of the fund into each instrument which holds the company. In formulas:

Can this be achieved directly in a chart or do I have to pre-calculate it?
