Conditionally showing dimensions in filter pane?

I've been struggling a bit with conditionally hiding certain dimensions in a filter pane in a Sense app.

The idea is to show/hide certain dimensions in the filter pane, depending on who the current user is.

Pretty sure this cannot be done using the stock filter pane, but maybe there is some extension doing this?

I have scanned the ones on Branch, but didn't really find anything useful..

Figured it was worth asking here too, in case someone has done something similar.
