Strange issue, when I drag&drop MasterItems (dimensions and measures) onto my workspace, I get a "connection lost" error 100% of the time - see attached file.
If I first drag the chart, then add dimension/measure, everything works fine.
I've looked everywhere for someone with the same issue without luck.
Any ideas? It's quite annoying 🙂
If you are on Qlik Sense Enterprise on Windows (the on-prem solution) I suggest you check the log files. Possibly you need to increase logging level. For the SaaS solution I am not aware of what log files exist, but I would guess that you are not in the cloud and that you are having a local problem with your network settings.
Also try to open your browser's web developer tools (F12 och ctrl-shift-I). In that tool, go to the console tab and see if you get any error messages there when this happens. Possibly also the network tab.
