I'm working on creating a table in QlikView/Qlik Sense that displays the cumulative order inventory for each month based on specific criteria. The tricky part is, that I only have the OrderDate and the DeliveryDate. In my orginal excel export I achieve my analysis by counting the rows for every Month.The criteria include defining a vehicle as "ordered" when the order date is before the first day of the next month, and the start date field is either empty or after the last day of the month.
E.g. for July, I will select every order which has the order date befor the next month(august) and which has the the delivery date after July or "empty".
I tried to create a seperate table with a group by clause, but failded miserably. I only achieve to see which orders are orderd in the certain month but can't include the orders that are still not delivered from the prior months to add up to the order inventory in this month.
