DATA Connections cannot load successfully when closing external internet server and just using internal internet server in page of Data load editor.

HelloHMC_0-1763350614970.png

As the picture shows, when IT colleague opened the external internet server, I cannot load data connection successfully, only when he closed the external internet server(just using internal server), I can load data connection.

For our company, we don't allow to use external internet server in principle.

So, we want to obtain the tech-support to help us deal with this problem.

Thanks and best regards!

This could be a licensing issue. I believe Qlik Sense require external internet access in order to check the signed license key. To have a Qlik Sense instance cut of Internet then you will need to make sure you use a LEF file for setting up the license.

Another things to check in order to pin down the problem.

Are you able to reload from the HUB or via the QMC?

If you create a new empty app, does the problems persist?

Is this problem valid for all users?

Only professional licenced users may reload, could the block of external Internet affect how the user identify it self, causing it to loose the professional access?

Which version of Qlik Sense are you using?

Hello, thank you for your reply!
Firstly, neither HUB nor QMC can load data;
Secondly, as IT has already reopened the external network and the issue has been resolved, I am unable to verify whether the same problem will still occur when creating a new program. However, as shown in the image above, the data script editor cannot update, save, or connect data links. Therefore, I speculate that even if a new program is created, the same problem will still exist.
Finally, this issue has arisen for all users. We initially discovered this problem when a user was using the program and was not able to automatically refresh at the scheduled time, which was then reported to us. Therefore, this issue does exist among both left and right users, regardless of their permissions.

The version I am using is: Qlik Sense February 2022 Patch 1w
qliksenseserver:14.54.4

The detailed version information is shown in the following figure:
