Hello!
If you want (or need) the option to switch to a comfortable dark background for the Qlik Sense script editor instead of the bright white one we currently have, please go into ideation and upvote this:

Thank you so much for the feedback 🙂
I completely agree — it would be great if Qlik offered this natively, but until then I’m happy to fill the gap.
As for Firefox: Yes, I plan to support Firefox as well.
I’ll need to make a few adjustments for compatibility and then go through the Firefox Add-ons review process. I’ll share an update as soon as it’s live.
@haritrigger- DarQode extension is now available on Firefox Add-ons as well 🎉
Thank you again for the feedback and support — feel free to try it out and share your thoughts!
Eli.
Thank you so much — this is amazing! 😄
Just a bit of feedback: I had been using it on Brave until it became available on Firefox, and I’ve noticed something. Every time I open the Data Model Viewer, Data Manager, or Business Logic sections, I feel like I’m getting flashbanged 😂
The most important part is already covered (huge thanks for that!), but it would be awesome to have the dark mode applied to those other sections as well, if possible.
Also, just a thought — it might be useful to add toggles in the extension so users can enable or disable DarQ on those sections as they prefer, maybe? I imagine most people would want it applied everywhere, but having the flexibility would be a nice touch, of course if it doesn't add much complexity to the code.
Thanks again for this HUGE improvement on my workflow
Dark mode was originally the default colour scheme for computers and many people believe that coding in dark mode reduces eye strain (among other things) but some text and background colors may be displayed differently on the screen to ensure spacebar clicker the contents of the document are legible. It's a popular option for those who prefer a less bright and more subdued interface. With dark mode, the background is typically black or dark gray, and the text and icons are white or light.
Thanks so much for the kind words and thoughtful feedback!
DarQode was originally built to bring dark mode to the Qlik Data Load Editor section 🙂 That’s where it all started.
But you’re right - those bright flashes in areas like Data Manager and Model Viewer can be rough, and I’ll look into extending support there in a future version.
Toggles per section are a great idea too - giving users control without overcomplicating things makes perfect sense.
This is exactly the kind of feedback that helps me keep improving DarQode. I appreciate it!
