Data management

Hello everyone. I am an Access developer and I have come to the realization that MS is trying to kill Access. I have a few apps that use SharePoint and SQL Server as "back ends" for their data. One of the IT people whispered in my ear that Qlik is the "next thing is application development".

My question is, can Qlik we used to develop multi-user applications and if so, does it have it's own data storage feature or can I use the tables and lists I have on SQL Server and SharePoint respectively?

Thanks in advance...
