Database Connection Failed Error with Direct Query

I am creating an app in QlikSense using Direct Query. The query executes without any errors. However, when I create visuals, an error message saying 'database connection failed' shows up on the visual. I am loading only 2 dimensions and 1 measure filed. The expression for the visual is just count of the measure column.

Any idea why the error on the visuals?

Hi @greeshmak 

Can you tell me to which database you are performing the direct query? If it is SQL server, which connector are you using?

I was able to verify that if I use the native Qlik Sense connector for sql Server the same problem occurs to me as you have, but when using an ODBC driver for SQL I don't have the problem.

It may be a driver problem.
