Date Format

Hi,

I'm new on this and I have made an app based on a excel file.

On that excel file I have a field with values like "01-Apr-2014". This is a date. However, the Qlik does not recognize it as a date and I need to make a order by this field.

Hi,

I investigate a little further and found this document.

I tried date(date#([«FIELD_NAME»],'DD-MMM-YYYY')) and it seems to work.
