Dimension for comparing same day last year

Hi,

I have a measure for current year revenue, and a min/max (Date) - 364 for comparing the same day previous year.

This gives me a correct total, but I dont have any dimensions that aligns the comparing dates on the same row:

Date

Revenue 2021Revenue 2020
01.01100
02.01200
03.01300100
04.01400200
05.01500300
06.01 400
07.01 500

Ideally, I would like to see friday 01.01.2021 on the same row as friday 03.01.2020.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

I've read this a few times now and still can't figure out why you would want to see 1/1 on the same row as 3/1.

Is the goal to show Day of the Week like (Sunday - Saturday?) If that is the goal simply use the WeekDay() function inside the load script so each row has the day of the week.

Hi,

The goal is to see current years revenue and compare it against the same day previous year.
Friday 01.01.2021 is equivalent to  Friday 03.01.2021 ( -364 days).

The WeekDay function works fine for a week by week comparison. But not for longer periods.
