Hi,
My business user's are asking to display the data as shown below. So please suggest me to achieve this requirement.
Example Table:
| Area_1 | Area_2 | Area_3 | Sales |
| Derma | HS | A | 10 |
| Derma | HS | AA | 20 |
| Derma | HS | AB | 30 |
| Derma | AS | B | 40 |
| Derma | AS | BA | 50 |
| Derma | AS | BB | 60 |
| Derma | IN | C | 10 |
| Derma | IN | CA | 20 |
| Derma | IN | CB | 30 |
| Derma | RS | D | 40 |
If user selected Area_1='Derma' and Area_2='HS','AS', then the stacked bar chart should display non selected values in Area_2(IN,RS) as 'Other' along with selected Area_2 values as HS ,AS.
legends for stack should be HS,AS,Other
Dimension=Month_Year
Stack=Area_2
Expression=Sum(Sales)
I believe this should work...
Your expression in your chart should ignore the Area_2 field selection: Sum({<Area_2> } Sales).
On your Area_2 dimension, choose Limitation = Fixed number, and use an expression Count(Distinct Area_2) + 1.
Alternatively it can be done with a calculated dimension, but the above would be nicer to implement if it gets what you want.
