What I want to do is downdate the stock Qty by what as been ordered for that day and then carry over the new stock qty over to the next day and again take off what has been ordered for that day. The purpose is so that I can display if there is enough stock to cover both days and if not what is the difference .
The fact file where I get the stock qty from will populate the current qty for each item for everyday and not take into account what is ordered for each day so if I have 40 pcs on stock and 30 is ordered for to day and 20 is ordered for tomorrow I will not see that I'm going to be 10 pcs short until the current days order has been dispatched. I hope this makes sense any help will be greatly appreciated.
I would approach this with an as-of table (https://community.qlik.com/t5/Qlik-Design-Blog/The-As-Of-Table/ba-p/1466130). See application attached
