Download Option Not Visible for Charts in Qlik Sense SaaS Enterprise

Hi everyone,

I’m currently using Qlik Sense SaaS Enterprise, and I’m trying to download the data (in Excel format) from a chart in one of my applications. However, when I open the context menu on the chart, the "Download" option does not appear, unlike what I’ve seen in tutorial online (https://help.qlik.com/en-US/sense/November2024/Subsystems/Hub/Content/Sense_Hub/DataExport/export-da...).

Here’s what I’ve checked so far:

  1. Permissions: I’ve confirmed that I have access to the app and can view the charts, but I’m unsure if export permissions might be restricted.
  2. Chart Settings: I’m not certain if there’s a specific property in the visualization that might be disabling the download option.
  3. Browser: I’ve tried clearing the cache and switching browsers (firefox, chrome), but the issue persists.
  4. Version/Restrictions: I’m using Qlik Sense SaaS Enterprise. Could this be a limitation or configuration issue in the SaaS environment?
  5. Chart Type: I’m working with bar charts and tables. As far as I know, these should support data export.

Does anyone know what could be causing this issue? Could it be related to app or organization-level settings, or is there something I might have missed? Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you!

Thank you for your reply!

I’ve already tested modifying the "restricted view" settings, but unfortunately, the issue doesn’t seem to be related to access rights. I am the tenant administrator and also the owner of the space where the application resides, so I should have full permissions to export data ...
