I have a single node server (Qliksense 3.1 SR4) and two servers - production and Dev/QA server with each 64 GB RAM as our cloud VM servers. However, we are on and off getting Engine flickering issues almost every week. No tasks or extracts are running during this duration. Just usual business usage or development going on in Dev-QA environment.
When Engine flickering happens, QMC shows Engine stopped and simultaneously developers or business get either Engine / load balancer issue on screen. However, we have noticed that all the Qlik related services are showing as status Running in the background.
We have raised case multiple times with Qlik support and they are not able to identify the issue via Qlik or Windows logs or Qlik monitoring QVD. Now, they have suggested to enable verbosity of logs to see if that helps. However, my concern is that verbose logs will have an impact on our server performance.
Can anyone share their experience with engine flickering issue and any possible solutions? Is increasing the verbosity of Qlik logs have any major impact on server performance?
