Hi,

Error Code 9010 in Qlik Sense generally indicates an "Engine not available" error. This could happen for various reasons, often related to the Qlik Sense Engine Service (QES) not being reachable or available when the load script or some other operation was attempted.

Even if the data load appears to have completed successfully, this error suggests that there was a problem communicating with the Qlik Sense Engine, which could affect subsequent operations or the availability of the app.

Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and resolve this issue:

  1. Service Status: Check the status of the Qlik Sense Engine Service in the Qlik Management Console (QMC) to ensure it is running. Restart the service if necessary.

  2. Server Resources: Insufficient system resources can cause the Qlik Sense Engine to become unavailable. Ensure the server has enough memory and CPU resources available.

  3. Log Files: Examine the log files for the Qlik Sense Engine Service around the time the error occurred. This can provide more information about what might have caused the error.

  4. Network Issues: Network issues can prevent communication with the Qlik Sense Engine. Ensure that there are no network connectivity problems between the server where the engine runs and any other components.

  5. Session Limits: If your Qlik Sense application reaches the maximum number of allowed sessions, it could cause the engine to be unavailable for new requests. Check for session limits in the QMC.

  6. Corrupted App: Sometimes, the app itself could be corrupted, leading to issues when trying to load data. Try duplicating the app and running the load script again.

  7. Engine Logs: The engine logs, located in the Qlik Sense log folder (typically found in C:\ProgramData\Qlik\Sense\Log\Engine), can provide specific details on the error.

  8. Qlik Support: If none of the above steps help, consider reaching out to Qlik Support for assistance.

To determine if the data load actually completed successfully before the error occurred, you can check the app's data model viewer in the Qlik Sense Hub to see if the expected tables and fields are present. Additionally, reviewing the script execution logs in the QMC will show you the status of the data load steps.

It's essential to address the underlying issue causing the 9010 error to ensure that the Qlik Sense Engine remains reliable and available for loading data and serving users.
