Hi, I'm not very experienced in QlikView and I need help to export a Horizontally straight table into excel keeping the horizontal data.
If I send this table to excel
by clicking XL button, on Chart caption I get
I can export to Excel and open the Paste Special dialog box, then select Transpose.... but my boss doesn't want to this way.
I cannot change chart type into pivot because I have a more complex chart that will use this solution.
Can someone help me?
Thanks
Your table is a pivot and shouldn't be changed into a straight-table during the export. Take a look if you really export the right object and/or if there are any macros/actions/variables in place which may use another object or triggering a type-change.
I cannot open you qvw. You should be able to export the view as is into excel. you dont need to transpose in the excel.
you mentioned 'I cannot change chart type into pivot because I have a more complex chart that will use this solution.' but you are trying to export from pivot as seen from the picture.
what version of QlikView are you running?
