Exporting Pivot Table to Excel is Formatted as Text

Looking for some feedback.  I tried applying the suggestion from a few different QlikView threads using a Round() function within an expression without luck (output is still formatted as text).

We have no problems exporting from a standard table object as a value but the pivot table object is exporting only as text and I'm hoping there is an easy workaround for this.

can you provide more details or sample qvf as it is not easy to be reproduced.
