Extensions/Charts to Put Step Back or Step Forward on the Sheet

Are there any tools/methods to put the standard step forward/back options directly on the sheet? Most of my users don't "see" the selections bar. The visuals keep their focus on sheet itself. Activating a selection directly from the sheet is intuitive and easy to implement. However, undoing/redoing selections requires breaking focus from the sheet and engage with the selections bar and options. Not the cleanest experience. 

Are there custom extensions that allow activating the undo/redo button from the sheet? I've looked at SheetEvents, SheetNavigation, SimpleFieldSelect but none allow for general undo/redo actions.
