Filter the bar chart on the basis of date picker in qliksense

Hi Everyone ,

I have 3 bar charts showing sum sales with respect to week , month and quarter. I wish to create a visual where user can filter the date using date picker . 

As of now , I tried to use date picker available in qlik bundle extension and created two variables vstartdate and vmaxdate . However, I am not able to get the option of passing these variables in my date picker extension :-

How can I achieve my requirement . I want user to filter the data using date picker. Can anyone please help as I am stuck on this one ?

Why do you need to use variables, the date picker allows you to select a range using a calendar
