Hi All,
We work on an older version of QlikView and connect to SAP using sap SAP SQL connector.
The hostname of one of the DBs is changing, so we have to go into all the dashboards and update connection strings.
Is there a way I can extract the connection strings from each QVW to see which dashboards are impacted by the change.
I tried the Governance Dashboard, but had no luck.
Thanks
I'm not aware of a solution for that but, since you have to change all connections, it is a common and good practice to keep reusable/shareable connections in external files - aka include files. This way all your apps that use the same connection get it from one single place. The same if valid for folders and other settings/parameters. For more about include files:

You can use my free QV script repository tool

to extract all the scripts and then search for your connection strings.
