Hide Column in straight table

Hi Team,

  I have a straight table which needs sorting based on a rank field desc but I dont want to show this rank field in the table. I tried show column if option the rank column hides but the table uses next available measure for sorting. even the sort option doesnt help..  Is there a way I can achieve this

Did you try to use Sorting by expression in the Sort options?

I believe Mika's suggestion is the way to go forward with this as long as you don't want the rank to be visible as a separate column in the table.

No need to create measure for sorting, same measure you can write in sorting portion
