How can I control the highlighting/coloring of my data points in my picasso.js scatter plot?

Hello everyone,

Please have a look at this JSFiddle: https://jsfiddle.net/3sbvwpxa/. It features a scatter plot based on picasso.js with lassoing enabled.

What I'd like to be able to do is highlight the lassoed data points. By highlight, I mean set to a different color or set the opacity to a different value (something to make the points stand out from the un-lassoed pointed). How can I do that.

At the same time, I'm wondering how picasso.js decides on the colors of the points. It seems to be coloring each point black with maybe 50% opacity, without even distinguishing between the two categories: 2010 and 2011. I'm hoping that by gaining control of the colors, I'll be able to not only highlight lassoed points but set the default color of points based on category.

Thanks!
