I need to disable the option for the user to download the content of a table in Qlik Cloud, as shown below.
The App was shared to user using the Can View option.
I appreciate any help.
Hi, instead of 'Can View' assign only the 'Restricted View' permission on the space.
Can View ('Puede ver' on the screenshot) allows to export data.
Hi Paulo, I did some test myself and you are right, I can export data.
I keep digging and it looks that there is a default user permissions that allows to export data: https://community.qlik.com/t5/App-Development/Natively-limit-data-download-on-apps-on-Qlik-Cloud/td-...
So you also need set this default permission to not-allowed to prevent the data export

Hi, @rubenmarin
First of all, thanks for helping.
I just checked the options I have when configuring the user access to the space.
It is not listed the option "Restricted View". Do I need any specific config to the user that allows me to restrain its access?
Hi Paulo, you can apply the restriction in managed spaces, that app is published in a shared space.
I usually use managed spaces for final users, and shared spaces for developers or more advanced users.
It looks like I have no access to Managed Spaces.
I will get sure about the license my company has.
Thanks!
Hi, @rubenmarin . Here is Paulo again.
I put the app on a Managed Space and made the configuration to block the user from downloading the content of a table. But it didn`t work well.
To solve this, I certified that the user has only the Restricted View, it has only Analyzer license and made a lot of tests (clearing cache from browser, logging in and out at each change, etc).
The only way to solve this issue was to completely disable Context Menu on the Application Configuration. This is a way to make it work, but there's something I can possibly missed on this topic?

Thanks a lot.
Just for information, a screenshot follows after configuration of User Defaults.
OK, just for the info. In my tests I see that behavior when I added no-data ('No hay datos' in this screenshot).
Without any role that gives the 'No hay datos' permission and leaving only the 'No permitido' on the user default, the Download option was not shown.
If the default has the 'No permitido', maybe there is another role giving the 'No hay datos' permission to the user.
