How to force Qlik Sense to show line breaks coming from dB
Hi Qlik colleagues,
I have a text field coming from a database in which the data is stored with line breaks e.g.
III. COMPETITIVE ASSESSMENT A. Closeness of competition 1.Geographical density
When I use this field in a table object within Qlik Sense, then it is shown without those linebreaks:
III. COMPETITIVE ASSESSMENTA. Closeness of competition1.Geographical density
However, when I check the data in the data manager, then I see the values as in the database, meaning like it is in the database with the line breaks so Qlik Sense is storing them. Only in the dashboard modus within the table objects it just shows it as one line.
I came across several solutions and workarounds to replace the chr(13) or chr(10) by a space in the script but this is in my case not a favorable solution. I would like the see the same linebreaks as this is coming from the dB within the Qlik Sense Table.
