How to project the rest of the days of the year in a line chart

Hello Everyone.

I have a graph that is showing sales per year in the last 5 years. The sales dropped in 2022, clearly, because the year in not over. I would like to project the rest of the years in the graph. How could I do that? is there any function?

What I mean is, lets say that I sold 10 euros from the 01.01.2022 to today. 263 has passed since 01.01.2022, so at the end of the year I would have (102/365)*10=2,8... so I would have 12,8 euros at the end of the year.

Greetings

Hi @Manuel174102

i can only see 3 options here

1. calculate in the script so you can create the future dates, if the dates doesnt exists in the data the chart will not show them.
So, you could use your formula for each month or day until the end of the year or implement some R scripting.

2. Use the new forecast option for linechart, but i think its only available for Qlik Cloud

3. Vizlib extension for on-premise

Hello! That is an awesome answer. Thanks!!

I have a question about the first one, which is the only one that I could use.

I get all my data from SAP, so it is not an excel or wharever. The data that I get from SAP is until this present day, can I still create the future days on the script and add them to my graph? is it possible?

or can I change my X axis, I get the dates as default, 2017,2018,2019 and so on, can I have "Until Today" instead of 2022???
