I am looking to build a tool in Qlik Sense to help the sales team price their products effectively by being proactive about potential product volatility in the market.
Our products we manufacture are made up of multi-level structures where product A could be made up of products B, C, and D, and product C is also made up of products E, F, and G, etc.
We also have three different cost metrics that we want to analyze, I'll call them 1, 2, and 3.
What I'm looking to do is create a sheet where an end user can go in and filter down to product A for example, choose which component product they want to look at, let say product C, and then which price they want to manipulate (let's say price metric 2).
they would then be able to enter an amount that the price would go up or down by, and they would be able to see the before and after rolled up cost of product A, and various other metrics that would be affected by the price change.
Basically, is there a good way to do a custom input parameter that changes the data in the sheet like you can do in Power BI, that preferably doesn't involve a WRITEBACK use??
