Interview question

There are three fields user, sale and country if we are having 200 countries but user wants to see only 50 countries. what is the approach?

That was an open ended question. It depends on which 50 countries the user want to see. How does the user decide on the selection?

One approach is to select the 50 is by selecting them from a filter pane.

Another is to create a chart object with country as dimension and a measure of intrest.  Then select country based on the values from that measure in the chart.

@Annapurna1 , you have to probe with the interviewer (assuming, you are not interviewing us here. 😋) more. If you need to restrict the data at the backend, you can use where clause with possibly match(), or you are looking from data security perspective, use section access. Remember, questioning more to narrowing down to the real problem is also an area that interviewer might want to check as a skill in the interview.
